We built a full-featured marketplace that serves two audiences: freelancers who need a professional online presence, and clients who need a reliable way to find and evaluate talent. For freelancers, the platform offers customizable public profiles with a unique handle URL. They can upload portfolio projects, list services, add work experience, and connect their social accounts. Each profile comes with a built-in analytics dashboard that tracks profile views, unique visitors, portfolio clicks, social link clicks, and profile shares all with historical trend data and visual charts. Freelancers see exactly how their profile performs over time, which projects get the most attention, and where their traffic comes from. For clients, there's a searchable freelancer directory with filters for skills and location. Clients can browse profiles, review portfolios, and reach out directly. The platform also includes a testimonial system clients can write reviews for freelancers they've worked with, and freelancers can request testimonials from past clients. Authentication supports both email/password registration and Google OAuth, with email verification and password recovery built in. Security was a priority from day one the backend includes rate limiting, input sanitization, XSS protection, and secure cookie-based JWT sessions. The platform is fully responsive and uses theme customization so each freelancer's public profile has its own visual identity. Every interaction from a social link click to a profile share is tracked and surfaced in the analytics dashboard with percentage changes and time-period filters.
