Spoused is a marriage-focused dating app I built for iOS and Android made for people who want serious relationships, not casual dating. Unlike Tinder or Bumble, Spoused is built around real intent: every step focuses on helping marriage-minded singles find a genuine long-term partner. Users create detailed profiles covering relationship goals, lifestyle, and background, then swipe to match with compatible people. Once matched, they chat in real-time with typing indicators, read receipts, and quick message reactions, and connect face-to-face through voice and video calls built on WebRTC. A camera-based face verification step confirms every profile is real a key trust feature for users serious about marriage. The app offers multiple subscription tiers (Free, Gold, Platinum) that unlock advanced filters, unlimited likes, boosts, and Travel Mode to match worldwide. Payments are handled through several methods in-app purchases plus Stripe and PayPal giving users flexible, secure checkout. Add to that push notifications, reporting and blocking, and smooth onboarding across 35+ profile fields. I delivered the full React Native mobile app, the marketing website, and the admin panel all completed in 14 weeks and live on the App Store and Google Play today with real users.
