Project Details

Spoused is a marriage-focused dating app I built for iOS and Android — designed for users who want serious relationships, not casual dating. Unlike Tinder or Bumble where users are swiping for fun, Spoused targets singles looking for a long-term partner with a structured matching flow and identity verification at every step. Users create detailed profiles with relationship intent, lifestyle preferences, and cultural background, then swipe to match with compatible singles. Once matched, they chat in real-time with typing indicators and read receipts, and connect face-to-face through voice and video calls powered by Agora. Face scan identity verification ensures every profile on the platform is real — a critical trust feature for users serious about marriage. The app runs three subscription tiers via RevenueCat (Free, Gold, Platinum) unlocking advanced filters, unlimited likes, and Travel Mode to find matches worldwide. I built the full React Native mobile app, the marketing website, and the admin panel — all delivered in 14 weeks and live on both App Store and Play Store today.
