MaybeArt is a next-generation NFT marketplace built on the Solana blockchain, designed to bring together digital artists, physical art collectors, and music creators under one platform. Unlike typical NFT marketplaces that only handle digital assets, MaybeArt bridges the gap between the digital and physical art worlds. Artists can mint and sell digital NFTs, list physical artwork with built-in escrow-protected shipping, or upload music NFTs with configurable royalty shares that generate passive income for shareholders on every resale. Buyers can purchase instantly at fixed prices or participate in live auctions with real-time countdown timers and automatic settlement. The platform features its own $MAYBEART governance token. Users can buy tokens with SOL, stake them to earn voting power, and participate in community grant rounds where emerging artists receive funding based on community votes. Every sale automatically distributes funds 75% to the artist, 10% to the grants pool, 10% to operations, and 5% to treasury creating a self-sustaining creative ecosystem. The user dashboard gives artists and collectors full control over their NFTs, active bids, orders, sales, and royalty earnings. Physical art orders include shipping address collection, carrier tracking, delivery confirmation, and dispute resolution all protected by escrow until the buyer confirms receipt. This project also includes a dedicated admin panel for platform management, content moderation, user oversight, and analytics. The backend is built with Express.js, MongoDB, and deep Solana blockchain integration including Metaplex for minting and IPFS for decentralized storage.
